Put up a school in our community. (DONE: August 2014 I created a small school in our community teaching people programming) I think the education system in our country needs some help and I would like to give back once I become financially free by investing in our youth thru quality education. I don't know when will I get there, but its been my dream out of many..
Buy a piece of land that I could develop into a farm. The idea of permaculture or permanent agriculture is to provide a sustainable food and resources using the design seen in nature. Which means, to develop a piece a land to produce food that will sustain my family. Which means, no need to buy food anymore.
Reach the age of 100. A lot of people reaching the age of 100 and still strong have a few things in common. They are either farmers or fishermen. Which means, their body are used to labor which means exercise, and they eat less meat and more organic fruits, vegetables and fish -- homegrown. They also live in rural provinces. With friends and families, sleeping and waking up on whatever time they feel like it. Which also means, they live a stress free life and happy social lives. They also tend to drink wine after a day's work with friends.
I like reading your blog, The things you dream and do, almost parallel with mine, so it's like you become my guide as you are ahead of doing things.
ReplyDeleteOnce financially free, would like to give back to public school secondary students even just to encourage and guide them. Just finished paying my small house and now thinking of small farm where I can grow my own vegetables, hoping to grow old without critical illness. You're one of my fave blogger and you inspire me.
